French-German Defence SME Industry Days

As part of our efforts to strengthen French-German industrial collaboration, we are pleased to inform you that GICAT and the BDSV, in partnership with Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), is organising a bilateral Franco-German seminar on 21st and 22nd of January 2025 at the Saint-Louis Institute.

The programme for this French-German Defence SMEs Industry Day will give you the opportunity to :

1. Gain a better understanding of the French and German defence ecosystem, market dynamics and defence players in both countries;

2. Meet the French and German authorities in charge of acquisitions;

3. Take part in B2B networking sessions with French and German companies to initiate future industrial cooperation, particularly within the framework of the European Defence Fund.

GICAT

Since its creation in 1978, GICAT – the French Land and Air-Land Defence and Security Industry Association – has been a business-oriented federation composed of 480 companies from the Defence and Security sectors. The GICAT’s role revolves around several objectives : organising the dialogue between institutions and manufacturers in the sector, promoting the expertise and image of the sector’s industry and creating a favorable environment for exchanges between manufacturers. With offices in Riyadh, Jakarta and Ukraine, in addition to its HQ in Paris, GICAT has reinforced its international presence, which contributes to supporting members in their export development.

BDSV

The member companies of the Federation of German Security & Defence Industries e.V. (BDSV) are highly qualified suppliers and partners of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and of the ministries entrusted with responsibilities regarding national security. Our industry is an indispensable part of German security interests and contributes to the protection and security of Germany’s citizens.
